Private parking tickets / Re: Pay PCN without debt recovery plus fee?
« on: September 27, 2024, 06:47:28 pm »
I got a letter before claim.  So to save me the headache I paid ticket and not the fee as they gave me the bank details. I have until 6th October so I haven't heard anything thing as yet. The company was CPM but the solicitor was Gladstone

As far as am aware yes they was visiting.  I checked on the housing website and the tenants of the building can obtain a visiting permit on their website not the company who issued the PNC.  I am assuming the driver wasn't aware of the permits situation as from the the photos you would need a flash light to read the signs at 3am . An am not sure if the driver was made aware of the parking terms as I don't know the person or the property that the car was parked on

Sorry I didn't answer all the questions. No it's not where I live. The permits are issued by the housing not the parking company.  As am not the driver I am assuming that they went to visit a person who lives there.

The driver doesn't live in London.

My apologies I have a learning disability and jump to parts and forget others.

I received a letter before action as I wasn't the driver.

My name and address on the V5 is correct just the title was wrong so I didn't open the letters as am not married.  I just saw it as junk mail.   They stated the PCN was due to no permit on display but the photo of the sign post isn't visible and it's very dark.  The post aren't clear about visitors and there is more than one entrance and exit to the property (looked at it on Google).  The road that the property is on is a double yellow so can't park no where if you had too.  I done some reading and Southern Housing are the ones to issue a permit not CPM. The permit that they took a photo of is to dump rubbish at the Croydon dump which was on the car when purchased.  I hope I have given you the correct information

Private parking tickets / Private Land Parking fine Gladstone Solicitors
« on: September 14, 2024, 06:25:10 pm »
I had received a PCN from CPM UK car park management dated the 28th October 2023 for 3:06 on a private car park for Southern Housing (which isn't stated on any letters).  The letter before action states a different time aa so do the photos.
Its like it took them 20 mins to fill out the car details.  As the registrared keeper I ignored it as it was also titled Mrs and am not married.  I received debt collectors letters which I ignored.  Now I am getting letters from the solicitors stating that they could possibly take legal action.  I have an issue as on the final warning the time is different to the first PCN. I asked for photos which they have sent but the sign is unreadable.  My name is on the V5 which is up to date now and the DVLA have apologised due to their error. It look like they have changed the times on the photos.  Please can you advise.  I haven't named the driver.

I hope the links will take you to the paper work
