Just to let you know that I received the discontinuance.

A huge thank you to the time that many people put in on this forum to help other motorists.

Do you have a donation pot or something similar? If not would you like a donation to a charity?

It's the least I can do.

There will be absolutely no change in the predicted outcome. We need the dates and which court for our reference and stats.

This will end in a discontinuation.

Is there any risk of this going to court?

If I was to pay the £80, could this be adversely used against me?

This court date will end up disrupting work and ultimately costing me more than £80 for the day, just for time and the stress of preparing for it all.

Unidentifiable for what reason?

Time to take the tin-foil hat off. These companies issue over 40,000 PCNs a DAY!!! Trust me, the small cadre of hooded but technically savvy "yoofs", will have their hands full without trying to scour the interWeb for your case. Even if they did manage to identify that you are receiving assistance from a specialist forum, what are you imagining they could do with that information?

Fair point, well made, you would be more experienced with whether the information is accessed at all.

Are there any other considerations if I share some of the redacted parts, or is the outcome still going to be the same?

For heavens sake... what have you redacted the dates and the name of the county court????

Just follow the process. You will soon receive either a call or text or email or letter from DCB Legal offering a settlement. Ignore all offers of a settlement as this is just precursor to them discontinuing that claim. When you receive the N279 Notice of Discontinuation (NoD), please let us know and show it of the record.

Trying to make it unidentifiable  ;D

Would it be of benefit if I unredacted it?

I'll follow the process.

Nothing on the back?

Just my address.

I've attached the bundle of files with generic information provided by the court.

Here's the allocation order:

Sorry if I've gone a bit OTT on the redacting, if you need any more information from it I can share what you need.

Thank you for your help.

Not for now. When you receive the case management judge order, show us. It will contain important information on how they intend to deal with the case and, if necessary the date of the hearing and deadlines for submitting evidence in a Witness Statement (WS).

I have received a notice of allocation to the small claims track with a date for the court hearing.

On the same day I have received an offer from the solicitor representing them stating that they would reduce the full and final settlement to £80.

Would you like me to share any of this on here?

I attended the mediation call and I've now received a transfer of proceedings to the court for allocation.

Are there any further actions for me to take at this point?

Just remember, when you are in the call, you offer £0 and it will be over in minutes.

I think another appointment will be mid January now, but I'll keep that in mind for the next one.

I imagine it is that email b789 was asking to see...

The email was just from a mediator saying that they were going to try to call me, it doesn't have any useful information.

I've asked to re-book the appointment because I haven't received any more information. They said they will send all of the info out to me in due course.

I haven't received a letter.

I just got an email today saying I haven't turned up for an appointment.

Just received an email from a small claims mediator saying they tried to contact me for an appointment that was apparently scheduled for today... I didn't receive a letter.

I’m getting spammed with phone calls and voicemails from the solicitor now.

I’ve been contacted by email by the solicitor giving me a settlement consideration.

I assume this is standard procedure and to continue.
