Private parking tickets / Parking fine from being in the gym car park that I’m entitled to use!!!

I’ve been going to this gym since 2019 it operates from a parking system you enter the gym and put your reg in, I must of entered the reg wrong on the system we all do mistakes? I’m a gym user so I’m entitled to use that car park!
Parking eye sent me fines and I ignored them and tried appealing and it got denied.
Now months and months later dcbl have issued debt recovery notice.
If I used the car park illegally I would of course paid the first initial penalty which I have done in previous parking fines, my credit score is maxed I don’t want to mess it up but I literally cannot pay this when I was entitled to use the car park, I just can’t do it!
Do I stand a chance against this vermin? Has anyone had something similar. Any help would be great thanks
