Hi all,

Recieved this earlier in the morning on a quick visit to a shop. I'd like to understand what this code is for exactly and if the warden has been too picky? I didn't feel i parked badly intentionally. The wheels on the pavement side are just behind or touching the line marked for the parking area on the pavement. What grounds do i have to challenge? The car is wide-ish but i do not feel i caused any inconvenience or obstruction to pedestrians.

PCN & pics taken by warden:

My quick photos:

This occured on High Road Leytonstone E11, in Waltham Forest. The parking sign allows a 15 minute park. See google streetview embeds below

Talk about money-grubbing ! This CEO must have been desperate to make his PCN target for the day. I think you'd win at London Tribunals on this one, as your wheels are just on what used to be the white line that outlines the bay.
However, you'll have to stand your ground and be willing to risk the full PCN penalty.  Going to adjudication is a double-or-quits gamble, I'm afraid.  Whilst we on this forum can indicate your chances, we cannot predict the outcome.

@IINexusII all your photos have been deleted from imgur.com so I suggest you post updated links.

Even better, use the "insert an image" button as explained here: https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/read-this-first-before-posting-your-case!-this-section-is-for-council-tfl-dartme/
I practice law in the Traffic Penalty Tribunal, London Tribunals, the First-tier tribunal for Scotland, and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal for Northern Ireland, but I am not a solicitor or a barrister. Notwithstanding this, I voluntarily apply the cab rank rule. I am a member of the Society of Professional McKenzie Friends, my membership number is FM193 and I abide by the SPMF service standards.
