Good day all,

Received a PCN yesterday after parking on white zigzag lines near zebra crossing, to be honest I was in such a rush getting out as the roads were full  that I didn't realise they were zigzag lines. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Be thankful it was a CEO and not the police - that would have been 3 points and £100 fine.

The CEO hasn't taken pics of the crossing but I think it's as this shot from Maps showing the crossing is built out into the road but I doubt that matters for the contravention.

Sadly, I can't see any way of fighting this that stands a realistic chance of winning, and you're in a 'double or quits' situation where it's going to cost you £130 if you appeal and lose.

I'd pay at the discount rate and make sure not to do it again if I were you.

Thank you all for your advice, I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet on this one and count myself fortunate that the police don't really care for such contraventions around here!
