Hi All,

Date of contravention 10.06.26
Date of PCN 09.07.26

Are Lambeth out of time in issuing the PCN?

Thanks

Sorry, to add:
Contravention was recorded on CCTV camera on 10th June and pcn was dated and posted first class on 9th July

Please read this and update your thread accordingly: -

Sometimes we identify things unrelate to the contravention that make the PCN void.

Assuming you own the car and your V5C is up-to-date, they have 28 days to send out a PCN from date of contravention under the London Local Authorities and Transport for London Act 2003, (see top of your PCN somewhere). It looks like they are a day over.

The Archbishop of Canterbury  should hear their confessions regularly re their website. Currently, they issue charge certificates even when an appeal has not even been filed.

There are "known knowns" which we may never have wished to know. This applies to them. But in the field the idea that there are also "unknown unknowns" doesn't apply as they hide in the aleatoric lottery. I know this is true and need to be prepared knowing the "unknown unknowns" may well apply.
