PCN 34J BEING IN A BUS LANE RIPPLE ROAD BARKING.

Hi I was just wondering can anyone help me, I was trying to appeal this as i asked them i didnt see a sign or for them to show me evidence of the bus lane sign.

Here is the original letter and response.

I was wondering is there anyone can help me or I will just have to pay before it goes to £160.
I am aware this is a money making business where they made millions in these charges.

Also I am not from the area it was heavy rain I still am careful and I think it's disgusting how they make money like this.

Their video shows a pretty clear contravention whereby you enter the lane about 20 metre before it ends, presumably to turn left; true or false ? The video also shows other vehicles moving left at the end of the bus lane, unlike you who would seem to want to get some advantage over them. That's no me thinking, it will be the thinking of an adjudicator at London Tribunals if you take them there.

You show their letter of rejection but not your reps, which we really do need to see to check if they are bluffing their way or not.

There are "known knowns" which we may never have wished to know. This applies to them. But in the field the idea that there are also "unknown unknowns" doesn't apply as they hide in the aleatoric lottery. I know this is true and need to be prepared knowing the "unknown unknowns" may well apply.

Wait for the Enforcement Notice and be prepared for the long game. In this law they MUST attend and their paperwork MUST be watertight. I have won every bus lane case in the last 4 years - particularly against this borough.

I was going left thats because I thought its a separate lane to the roundabout.

As you know you get the left, and straight ahead. I live up North, and I am not from the area and I thought i had to go on this lane to go left.

And no i had no intention of trying to go past the other cars at the time when it was raining alot I thought these cars realised they are supposed to go on the left lane.

Thank you for your support.

At times I am really annoyed and feel like starting a campaign for them to put better clearer signs. At one point I felt like driving to London and walking up on that road to take photos of the signs and maybe warn people on YouTube video or something.

I was so shocked they made 4 to 5 million a year over these charges.

Relax and trust me.

Hi,

I am still waiting for the enforcement notice.
Can I ask when I recieve this, do you know when bailifs will get involved?

Or is it bailiffs dont get involved until after court?

I am just getting little worried I don't want to give in paying the £80.

But when you mentioned be prepared for the long game I am just getting worried or bailiffs or debt collection letters.

Kind Regards
