You're welcome. Be thankful you don't live in London! £120 a pop down here.
£130, surely ?

No it's £130, unless it's TFL and then it's £160.
I practice law in the Traffic Penalty Tribunal, London Tribunals, the First-tier tribunal for Scotland, and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal for Northern Ireland, but I am not a solicitor or a barrister. Notwithstanding this, I voluntarily apply the cab rank rule. I am a member of the Society of Professional McKenzie Friends, my membership number is FM193 and I abide by the SPMF service standards.

TfL really are the modern day Robber Barons. Wolf of Badenoch also comes to mind !

For future reference the council has confirmed the camera is a LaneWatch Mark 2 / MAV52, which matches certificate EADM056.

Hi guys just some followup questions

I'm pretty sure it's too late now because my girlfriend panicked and paid it buuuuut

She completely forgot about the PCNs until today. When she checked to pay them, the discount had run out and she needed to pay The date on the PCN was 4th April and the letter says she has 21 days from Date of Service to pay them at the discounted rate. It describes the Date of Service as starting the second working day after posting. As the 4th of April was a Thursday, am I right to assume that the Date of Service would then be Monday 8th of April? If that is the case, as today is exactly 21 days from the Date of Service, surely we should have had the discounted rate until midnight tonight?

Regardless, she panicked (woo anxiety) and paid them when we really should've taken it to appeal if the discount disappeared anyway but what can you do? If there's anything you can do please let me know!

Thanks and have a nice day,
Oscar.

The 8th April was day 1, so day 21 was 28 April.

Once the discount was gone it would have cost nothing to appeal so paying up was not a smart move.
