I live on a road that is managed by Haringey Council. The council put temporary parking restrictions in place to allow builders to carry out some work in the area. My car was parked in a safe spot, but the builders working on the project asked me to move my vehicle to help facilitate their work. I complied with their request and relocated my car, but this ended up placing it in a restricted parking area. As a result, I received a parking ticket. I’ve appealed twice and Haringey have doubled the fine. I feel
I’m in the right and don’t want to give in.
What are my chances of successfully appealing this without the bailiffs knocking at the door ?
