Hello folks, this is the first time for me to post here. Our car was caught at a box junction.
I was wondering for your advice on the following picture, do I have grounds for appeal seeing as the car was just on the edge for less than 10 seconds or is it not worth it?
Its the blue car in the left lane that stops just at the end of the box junction.
Thanks for any help or advice you can give.

According to the CCTV footage timestamps, your vehicle had stopped between 13:31:07.801 and 13:31:15.512, indicating a stationary time of approximately 7 seconds.

This may fall under the legal principle of de minimis, which refers to matters considered too insignificant for legal action. You might consider appealing on these grounds. Additionally, other forum members may be able to suggest further grounds for appeal.

@Cavallino you need to read the guidance here and post all the documents please. At the moment we don't even know if the PCN is valid or not.
I practice law in the Traffic Penalty Tribunal, London Tribunals, the First-tier tribunal for Scotland, and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal for Northern Ireland, but I am not a solicitor or a barrister. Notwithstanding this, I voluntarily apply the cab rank rule. I am a member of the Society of Professional McKenzie Friends, my membership number is FM193 and I abide by the SPMF service standards.

De minimis does not equal 7 seconds.  Also, some adjudicators do not even entertain the idea. Those that do have now left.
