Hi All,

Earlier this week I parked here: 21 Akllbacore crea London SE13 7HW.
Walked out of the car because I was in a hurry for a doc appt took a pic of the poll on the other side of the road and paid my parking. When I walked out of the hospital I saw I had a ticket and initially assumed it was because I paid a couple of min after I parked because I was in a rush. However, before I appealed I checked on Google and that the side of the road might be permit holders only but there isn't a sign anywhere near the place I parked - its way down the road,so unclear if I actually have grounds to appeal or not.

Yes, do as Taffer87 requests.  However a sign on the opposite side of the street to the bay where you parked does not apply.  Have a look at the signs for the two bays here, one each side of the street: -

one is permit holders only, the other, permit holders plus Pay-by-Phone parking

@Incandescent, are you familiar with this area? I ask because the no waiting restriction for heavy lorries and buses which is shown in GSV is, to put it mildly, inconsistent with the parking place.

The restriction cannot apply to the left because this is DYL.
And if it applies to the right then this is inconsistent with the parking place restriction which is parking related 24/7.

I am not familiar with thie area at all, my comments are based on what one can see in GSV for the street, in the absence of any detailed information from the OP. This shows at the southern end of the street, two parking bays, one each side of the carriageway, with one a permits only bay and the other permits and PbP . It was to illustrate the error in relying on a sign on the opposite side of the carriageway when parking.

Initially, it could be assumed that the goods vehicle restriction applies to permit holders with such vehicles.  The lack of any further signs for the restriction tends to weaken that argument.

There are a few panel vans plated at 5t which may be the intended target cut-off for residential Environmental weight restrictions.
