52JM Hounslow
« on: »
I’ve received a 52JM from Hounslow for a driving down a restricted road.

I accept I did it and I didn’t see the signs (no excuse) but it was due to my phone coming up with an “Overheating” warning whilst on the mount. I turned down the street in a panic as it was the first one I came to, so I could pull over and remove it from the charger in the blazing sun.

Is this something I can prove for an appeal, and if so is it likely to be successful considering the alternative was to stop on a busy 3 lane 50 mph carriageway and break the law by “using” my phone?
