Proposed appeal:
I am writing to formally appeal against the Penalty Charge Notice issued to me in relation to an alleged contravention involving a right turn.
I respectfully submit that the alleged contravention did not occur. As can clearly be seen from the evidence provided, my vehicle did not leave the main road but instead turned within its extent. The area I turned into is a clearly marked footpath that forms part of the main road, and at no point did I enter Salcombe Road.
The footage and/or images show that my manoeuvre was contained within the main carriageway and did not constitute a prohibited right turn into a side road. Therefore, no contravention took place.
I kindly request that you review the evidence in light of this clarification and cancel the PCN accordingly.
