NTK - Euro Car Parks - Treaty Centre - Hounslow

My MIL received an NTK from Euro Car Parks.
She did park in the centre, however the ticket machine on the floor and area she parked was out of order at the time.
She went downstairs to see if there was another machine there, there wasn't one that she could see.
So she exited and did her errands, it was approx 30 mins stay. On the way back she checked again if the machine was working and it was not.
So she got in the car and exited, my daughter was with her an called me and I suggested she go back and take a picture at least the machine wasn't working.
They went back into the car park and on the floor that she had parked there was a parking attendant and they had just fixed the machine that was previously broken. She purchased a ticket to cover her original stay and left. This all happened within the space of 5 minutes.

Wether any of that matters I don't know, but I'd like to know if there is grounds to appeal the ticket.

Please let me know if I have missed any details and next steps.

In order to provide accurate information please supply the rear of the PCN and quite a lot of data has been redacted, date of event date of issue  and times. You make mention of you MIL. Do not under any circumstances put an appeal in with this being mentioned or they may deduce the driver and RK are one of the same. The ticket purporting to cover the stay needs to be viewed to see if this is of significance.
 Obviously photos were not obtained at the time but it may be of use in the future if the machine was not operational at the time. The Parking Company will say if the machine is not working then look for another one or do not park. One step at a time and this can be moved forwards.

Bumping this in the hopes someone can help.

An appeal can be sent on the basis that the payment machine was not operating and that payment was made albeit a little later. The company will check with their operator whether this was the case but they will reject the appeal there is no mention of period of parking other than ANPR photos.
