Hi All,

After some advice if it is worth appealing on the attached pcn.


PCN HOUNSLOW 622 PARKED WITH ONE OR MORE WHEELS ON A FOOTPATH

I parked my van whilst attending a call out (I am a builder and had a call out for a customer emergency repair)

top of richmond avenue ie 1 richmond avenue, bedfont, tw14 9sg further down near outbuilding on google street view where royal mail van is

Looing along the street in GSV there are other vehicles parked partly off-carriageway. So I suspect it is tolerated but not where there are yellow lines.

So why not a PCN for parking where restricted (yellow line) ? Because there are exemptions to yellow lines but only a very special exemption for off-carriageway parking, so the council are almost guaranteed to get their money.
