So I parked here thinking only the bays were residential, and I feel the signage was misleading. Photos attached by my friend after I left, I was parked in front of the blue volvo.
On one side of the road as you enter it says zone ends while the other side says permit holders only beyond this point.
I parked here late last night and while I should have checked all the signs considering its London, I only saw a smaller sign on the opposite side of the road which it thought was referencing the parking bays.(also attached, its the sign behind the grey BMW with the hidden number plate)
I'm just wondering If I could appeal by saying the signage is confusing, and that its hard to see the one on the right hand side if I'm taking a left turn into the road.
I know on larger roads they need signs on both sides but I'm guessing this road is smaller than 5m (haven't measured it)
So in summary my potential appeal would be: its hard to see the 'residents only beyond this point' as its on the other side of the road and facing out while I'm turning left. However on the left hand side of the road is a conflicting sign saying the zone ends.
