A102 Blackwall Tunnel Tower Hamlets

Hi

As been requested to start my own thread. The wife didn't realise it wasn't free anymore as hadn't used it in years. She says se didn't see any signs but they must be there somewhere. I did pass through there once some months ago but was lucky to be told about it. Don't remember many signs tbh Only a couple of days left so not sure if its worth a challenge as they seem to get rejected.

Well, it could be of benefit to submit some non-confrontational representations explaining the circumstances as this toll is quite new, bearing in mind how old the tunnel is and that it's been free all that time. They may give way, they may not, but worth it in my opinion.

Did you mention the government site that omits the tunnels.

Most of what they've sent is just template but there isn't anything you can do really but pay the discount unless there is failure to consider certain reps.

Yes mentioned everything as discussed. If they have to include the toll on the gov site does that not count? Is there a time limit to update maybe the gov website

I don't know if that website omission would fly at the tribunal. It's something I found and I think if she had checked it before travelling it could work.

I'd say it's safer to pay the discount but it does seem they didn't address this - have you got a copy of reps.
