Are there any markers on the forum to indicate which topics I've posted in and also whether such marked topics have new posts? So an easy way to scan a whole page of posts.
This facility was on PPP. As I recall the indicator was a square fully filled and a square half filled in. Whether this was a global default or individually enabled I've no idea.
Likewise for topics I've read but not posted in. I don't want to read the same topics again only to find that I don't want to post.
As things stand on FTLA I post in some topics that I've read. But I've no easy way to know if there's been a reply, especially given that weeks might go by before there's an update.
Thanks,
There is a "New" pill next to topics if they've had new posts, I believe it looks like it only goes on posts you've read, but it might be posts after you've last been active on the forum.
There is also a "Notify" option at the bottom of threads that will alert you to replies. I would imagine this alert is via email, so I'd probably not recommend setting alerts for too many threads!
Can I just add to this.
When threads are moved to a more appropriate section of the forum, can they indicate so, just as they did on Pep; the title staying in place and being labelled 'moved'.
I recently asked for a thread to be moved and it was but I doubt the original poster has found it since, here, in the Flame Pit.

You get a single email per thread when a new reply is posted, until you visit the site again. But you can change this to be instantly, or a daily/weekly digest. Click your name in the top right, click account settings, and then notifications.
