Hi,
I'm going out of my mind with worry at the moment, as I have been caught speeding by the same camera twice (maybe 4 times) and have had 2 notice yo prosecute

Background:

In Wales, we hjave had new laws introduced to drop speed limit from 30mph to 20mph. I live around 50 miles away from the area I was caught and hjve never driven there before. On Sunday, I was caught doing 28mph in the 20mph area twice within 30 mins. Once going up the road and then 20 mins later coming back down. I didn't see any speed cameras on the road, although it is a fixed camera that caught me.

In 21 years driving, I have had a completely clean license. I have never been caught speeding, have had no accidents etc. I've never even been pulled over and cautioned. If it's just these 2 instances, I will happily take a speed awareness course and the 3 points / £100 fine.

However, I had to return to the same place on Monday to pick up the item I'd ordered, and can only assume I would have been doing above 20 )defo below 30mph though ) again. This means I will have 4 instances of speeding in 2 days by the same camera

I'm very worried as I am the only person that drives in my family and have a disabled daughter and 3 other children. I rely on my car for work as I often have to work out of hours due to my role. This means public transport would not be suitable and it is likely I will lose my job if I lose my license.
Realistically, how likely are South Wales Police going to give me the full 12 points? Are there any mitigating circumstances that may help me keep my license and keep the fine down?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

It's a sausage machine; if the computer says 4 you will get 4. On the face of it this adds up to 12 points and a totting up ban - but hopefully you will offered a course and then it will 'only' be 9. If it does get to court and 12 points, your family situation may be the basis of an Exceptional Hardship argument to avoid the ban - but the bar is high these days.

Wait for 14 days from last Monday to see if you receive any more notifications. If you do, complete each form and return them in the same envelope with a cover letter asking if they would consider dropping one or more of the offences. If you had been stopped at the time, received previous notices, etc, etc, you would have had a chance to modify your driving.

Obviously, you have missed the limit signs at least 4 times in this situation. They know that as well, but some forces will play the game and agree to drop one and offer a course for another leaving you with 6 points.
