Wrong Letter Recorded At Station (APCOA)
« on: »
Hi,
Someone I know has received a letter to the Registered Keeper for parking at Haywards Heath station.  The car park requires the driver to put the registration number in and, whoever was driving (but not the keeper) they have managed to input one letter of the registration incorrectly.

The ‘offence’ occurred on 02/11/2024, the letter is dated 19/11/2024.

Presumably, given the single digit mistake, a simple appeal should suffice for this one?

Thanks in advance.

For a 'minor' keying error the charge should be cancelled, but, as this is APCOA, there's probably a more sure-fire appeal to be made on the grounds of lack of PoFA compliance.
