I've been away looking after my elderly parents in a different part of the country since the end of January. I got home last Saturday 14th March to a letter from Excel Parking saying I hadn't responded to their first letter regarding overstaying in an ANPR car park on 7th Jan.

The first letter was definitely not in the pile of letters I got home to but the second one was. It gave me 14 days from the 25th Feb to pay them £100. Obviously I was beyond this on the 14th March and well beyond the original appeal date for the 'offence'.

With everything going on I just wanted to pay it and move on with my life but when I tried today their online payment system said I couldn't pay that PCN? I used their automated phone system which also said it couldn't locate the PCN I inputted, which was correct.

I actually quite fancy a day in court over this given the circumstances but I could do without the aggravation honestly.

I've looked at the MSE pages for advice which quite frankly are overwhelming to me
