Another Moorside Legal Court Case
« on: »
Hi everyone,

Just wanted to put this here for your reference as this forum has helped me a lot.

I had a meditation call this week for a Parking Charge Notice from that is being handled by Moorside Legal clowns.

The details of the person carrying out these mediation calls are:

Sheezah Sami
Litigation Paralegal

Liability denied and their offer of a reduced sum was rejected.

I also have paperwork signed by John Moody, also a Litigation Paralegal.

Do I let this just go to court and point out they are conducting litigation when they are not supposed to or is there something I should do before then?

Cheers in advance

We could ideally do with some more detail - which "paperwork" is signed by John Moody?

As a more general point... Any flaws with the way they are conducting the case can of course be pointed out to the judge, but you should always prepare to argue the substantive points of your defence. We have seen one case struck out where part of the judges reasoning was that an unauthorised person was conducting the litigation, was this raised in your defence?

Hi,

Unfortunately I have not included that point as part of my defence as that was done before I got any of his emails.

Also my apologies it’s not the paperwork but the emails that I received with the directions questionnaire and the reply to my defence was from him. He was also the one to serve the directions questionnaire on the court as per the email he signed.

My defence as pointed out on this forum is based on the vague poc and mainly that the PCN was not POFA compliant as lacks evidence for the alleged contravention and no time period was included just the issue time of the PCN.

Any questions just let me know.
