Speeding and other criminal offences / NIP - Speeding 25mph in a 20 mph - automatic camera

Hello all,
I got my license only a year ago and got an NIP for speeding 25mph in a 20mph road caught by automatic camera.
How do I ensure I get only a speed awareness course ? Is it advisable to call them? I also don’t mind paying a fine but would want to avoid points on my license.
Any advise would be appreciated.
