Hi everyone,

I'm hoping for some advice before submitting my appeal to London Tribunals.

I received five moving traffic PCNs from the London Borough of Hounslow relating to the timed restriction on Staveley Road.

The timeline is:

11 May 2026 – first alleged contravention.
Between 11 May and 20 May I unknowingly repeated the same school run.
20 May 2026 – I received my first PCN.
As soon as I received that first PCN, I immediately stopped using the route and have not driven through it again.

All five PCNs therefore arose before I had received any notice that I had committed the first contravention or had any opportunity to change my behaviour. The restriction is time-limited rather than a full-day restriction, and I genuinely did not see the sign at the time.

The Council has rejected my representations and the first Notices of Rejection are dated 8 June, so I need to submit my appeal before 8 July.

Has anyone successfully argued a London Tribunals appeal where multiple moving traffic PCNs were incurred before the first PCN was received?

Many thanks,

Lisa
