No, you need to send a Subject Access Request to Excel asking for all the personal information they hold (by your wife).

Hey all,

Yesterday my wife received a debt collection letter from dcbl, on behalf of Excel Parking Services Limited for over £150, we've had no previous correspondence from Excel about outstanding PCNs and this is the first we've heard of this. The letters Dated 16th  of June 2026.

V5C is up to date and hasn't changed in years.

I've been reading forums and other sites about this and how to dispute it, am I right in saying we need to do a FOI to Excels DPO to identify what the PCN is, request copies of all correspondence sent and also evidence of the PCN?

Hows best that I write that FOI and how do I know where to send it?

As we've no idea where this occurred or when I can't post signage so feels like we're being chased by debt collectors for something we don't know anything about.

Thanks massive in advance for help, if I've missed anything out happy to give more info!
