Silly question; why have you obscured the dates???

It looks like the notice is out of time for keeper liability.

Please also post up the reverse of the notice.

That's not a silly question. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

I went overboard with removing identifying information.

I've re-uploaded the images.

https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/read-this-first-private-parking-charges-forum-guide/ and, in particular, please post the PCN.

The driver can be pursued under contract law for six years, but if they want to pursue the registered keeper instead they have to post the first PCN to arrive within 14 days. Is your car’s V5C correct? Clearly ensure you do not identify the driver in any communication.

Yes, the V5 is correctly.

I have not, and i will not identify the driver in any communication.

I have received a PCN dated June 2026 with the following allegations.

In January 2026 at a McDonald's, the vehicle was observed parked in an apparent breach of the terms and conditions that are displayed on signs in prominent places around the parking area and that those motorists entering the site agree to be bound by. As a result, this parking charge, which is now immediately payable, has been issued.

The reason for issuing the notice charge is: Vehicle recorded as being left in McDonald's car park while occupants left the McDonald's premises.

I checked online, and charges can only be issued within 14 days?

If so, is that grounds for a successful appeal?

I have not replied to the charge yet, and this is the first letter I've received regarding this .

Thank you for any help
