Fair enough, thanks all for the replies. We did look when we parked, but the signs are not easily visible when you're there as opposed to on Google maps. The nearest one was on the drainpipe and is basically camouflaged so we've gone by it without even seeing it. Thanks again, lessons learnt.

Hi,

Sorry the photos were showing the immediate vicinity of where I parked, I was trying to show my perspective at the time. The google image was showing the sign I eventually found after getting the ticket, I was just highlighting how I described it above. I also forgot to mention, on Google maps (I've linked below), you can see the parking spaces over the road from where I parked didn't have any visible sign (we could see) to warn about restrictions either, we used them for reference at the time we parked up too.

Hoepfully everything else you needed is here, if not please let me know. I really appecitate you looking into this for me.

(In the image above, the white car is the same space I parked)

Hi all,

Hoping you can help me. I've been stung for parking in Windermere on my first visit to the lakes. They've done me for parking longer than an hour in a space where myself and my wife didn't see any signs. She's seven months pregnant and if we'd known there was an hour time limit we wouldn't have parked there in the first place, it obviously wouldn't have been practical to park up, and properly enjoy Windermere and get back to the car in under an hour in her condition.
Also the signs were not visible at all, we only knew there was a sign after getting the ticket and I eventually found it on a grey drain pipe attached to a grey wall, the thing was practically camouflaged! Also, on my rejection letter they've sent me a picture of another sign but I have no idea where that was positioned. The rejection letter also didn't acknowledge a single point I raised in the challenge, so it feels like an automatic rejection to me. Do I have a case to reject or am I best just paying?
Thanks all,
Pete
