-Question 1 : 'Please explain in as much detail as possible why you think your PCN should be cancelled'
        Answer : '1. The car shown in the evidence photo and video is not my car. The car shown is a different model from mine, mine is a Kia Picanto. This is evident from the shape of rear lights (evidence item 1)
2. The registration plate has been misidentified, as it is clear in the photo provided by you that it is GYxxxxx (Y not V for the second letter) (evidence item 2). GYxxxxx is a grey BMW 520, which does match that shape and colour.
3. From 18.31 to 19.39 on 27/10/2023, my car and I were en route from postcode CH64 6SB (Neston on the Wirral) to (redacted, my house), which is 240 mi from the indicated bus lane. I have Google location history and a telematics insurance from Hastings Direct that shows this. I was with another person in my car (redacted, boyfriend) who was also in the car and can provide a statement (evidence item 3)'

Hi all,

Wondering what happens next on my appeal. I received a PCN that I drove in a bus lane in Greenwich (Royal Borough of) on 27 Oct 2023. However, the photographic evidence is for a different reg plate: mine is GV but the photo shows GY, (distorted because of a dark bolt holding the reg plate) rest of the characters are the same.

I was on the Wirral at the time of the incident, 240 mi from the supposed bus lane. I have Google location history and I have telematics insurance showing I was driving between there and Manchester at the time.

The car in the photo was a different make and model to mine, which is clear from the shape and position of the rear lights.

I submitted these points of evidence. Do you think my appeal is going to be successful? When and how should I hear?

The person who did it was very brazen about it by the video so I'm also anxious of further notices.

Grateful for any reassurance.
