Received a PCN relating to the above (90 mins free parking) at the end of March. Were paying customers and use the same branch on a near-weekly basis and didn't know Smart Parking had recently taken over/started enforcing this. Have since located the QR code to register details for full day's free parking (piece of A4 lying flat on work surface).Tried to appeal (before I discovered this site) and included credit card backup showing that we were paying customers. This was rejected and now I'm not sure how to proceed, with regards to IAS appeal.

Appeal email - I am appealing this Parking Charge Notice as the registered keeper. The driver was a genuine paying customer at the restaurant on site and is also a regular visitor. A credit card transaction can be provided as proof of purchase. The vehicle remained for the duration of the visit, and the short overstay of approximately 20 minutes is consistent with time required to enter, locate signage, and exit the car park, particularly given that signage appears to have been recently installed and was not clearly brought to the driver’s attention. As a regular visitor, the driver was familiar with the previous parking arrangements and was not made sufficiently aware of any new or changed terms. No clear contract was formed due to inadequate and unclear signage. As such, I request that this charge be cancelled. If this appeal is rejected, please provide evidence of the signage in place on the date in question, including positioning, visibility, and dates of installation.Smart Parking response -

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.
