Private parking tickets / PCN, Not parking in a bay, Manchester SIP
« on: May 07, 2026, 01:18:21 pm »
Received a fine for not parking in a bay correctly. i have evidence that show that the car was well within the space of two cars that, when I arrived, were already parked. Due to the nature of this car park and the angles required to get into said bay I, in good faith, parked in between these two cars. Furthermore the lines on the ground were impossible to adhere to due to the angles required and inconsistency of there painting. I have footage of multiple other faded lines within the carpark. SIP have pictures also that they claim disprove this. Other cars in the car park were not adhering to lines on the floor and did not receive a fine.
I applied for an appeal which failed and i do not believe was fair. Now it has reached the stage where they are threating a County Court case. Does anyone have any advice on how to approach the matter. I have no way of contacting the Parking company and I believe i am in the right and acted in good faith, not taking up extra parking spaces and thus not affecting them monetarily.
Not once have I identified the driver.
