Private parking tickets / Re: PCS - Battersea Reach - Exceeded the allowed limit - But I didn't
« on: May 12, 2026, 04:46:23 pm »
So I got a reply from PCS informing me as that they have rejected my appeal as the registered owner.
In the above reasoning PCS states "the vehicle was parked for longer time permitted" however the pictures they have now shared with me the car is not parked in a bay but it is moving in the middle of the lane, actually going over a zebra cross.

As part of the appeal I have shared with them the screenshots of the car's GPS stating when the car started and finished journeys clearly showing that the driver was less then the permitted time (PCS hasn't still informed what is the permitted time. The driver recalls it was 30m.). In addition I have added on the appeal the screenshots from their website where there was no evidence available on the website. They have only showed it now on their email rejecting the appeal.

What should be my next move? Pay the fine? Making an appeal to POPLA with the code provided? Thanks.

Reasoning: Battersea Reach SW18 1TP is private land and is subject to a parking management scheme put in place by the operator at the landowner’s request. There are specific terms and conditions in place as part of this scheme, which are displayed on the signs in place at the site. These signs have been installed in clear and prominent positions.

On 01/04/2026, the vehicle was parked for longer than the time permitted. This was a breach of the terms and conditions and the PCN was correctly and legitimately issued as a result.

Please find attached the photographic evidence for the parking Charge.

Ultimately, it is the responsibility of the motorist to ensure that they seek out, read and comply with the terms and conditions of parking that are in place. By parking on site in breach of these terms and conditions, it has been agreed that the charge detailed on the signs will be paid.

I appreciate that this may not be the desired outcome, however, you have now reached the end of our internal appeal process.
