Civil penalty charge notices (Councils, TFL and so on) / Hackney Council, Code 73 - Parked without Payment, Spring Hill Recreation Ground.

Hello,
Parked up a Spring Hill Recreation Ground car park to drop something off for a friend living locally. Was only going to be there for 10 mins, so took the risk and didn't pay. Of course a warden turns up minutes later and I got back just as he was giving the ticket.
Wondering if there's any way out of this?
A few years ago I successfully appealed a similar ticket I received in Epping Forest on the basis of bylaws applying to the land? I can't remember the exact wording, but it was a private parking company, so maybe a different situation.
