The parking dispute is sorted.

However the Gatwick drop off ticket is not resolved. Here's the letter from Moorside legal:

Hey, this is a follow up from an old thread -

I got a gatwick drop off ticket forwarded to debt collection - https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1hXBKfUCn7LDtDDvRjARWts2N0GJvBGLz

Now I've had another letter from Moorside legal (a different debt collection agency?) - is this just a scare tactic. The advice was just to wait, at what point should i take this at face value and pay. Naturally i don't want to go to court and I don't want a mark on my credit rating.

No problem, will do - in terms of the heathrow one, will i get a warning before it gets to court so i have the possibility to avoid it? I'll pay if that's the case or by that point will it be too late?

Okay so pay the pub one? leave the airport one and see if something else develops? If I get a court letter then i pay it?

Is that the plan? Also thank you for the advice, i actually had a neighbour take in my mail and she forgot to give it because she's quite elderly.

Update: I phoned the pub and they cancelled the ticket! Great news! - Apparently it was sent in error as its for people using the train station. Patrons of the pub are okay.

Hey there, I'm new to driving and I've been away from home for the past 3 months, so I didn't receive these letters. I passed my test in august, so I'm new to all this and no doubt this is all my fault. Is there anything that can be done at this stage?

Pub Car Park
You must get tonnes of excuses, but there was a bunch of vans blocking all the signs. I also assumed since it was part of the pub that it would be free. So upon entering I didn't see anything, then when exiting the car park I saw the sign because someone had moved, I tried calling but I had literally 0 signal in that entire area - so I couldn't even pay if i wanted.


Solved! I phoned the pub and they cancelled it! - Apparently it was a deterrent for people going to the train station. Jesus.


Airport Drop off
I did actually drop someone off here. None of us saw any signs :(
