I parked on Dormer Close (EN5) where there are no clear signs on that road indicating parking restrictions, and there are no marked parking bays/boxes where I parked.
The only sign I saw on this road was a sign indicating you should park with wheels on the kerb past a certain point, which I followed. Based on that, and the lack of bay markings or clear restriction signage where I parked, I believed parking was permitted. I've parked on this road before and not received any PCN.
I then received this PCN for contravention code 12. My concern is that the restriction was not clearly signed at the location where I parked, with no boxes, signs or yellow lines on the road, and the signage present (footway parking instruction) was confusing in context.
I have attached images of both the PCN and where I parked, showing no road signs on that road that state no parking.
