The amount outstanding on the Charge Notice will increase to £240.00 on Mon, 23 Feb 2026. Please pay £160.00 now.

Excellent (the challenge option appeared to still be functioning on their website, another symptom showing their systems are not aligned with the timescales they should be working to). Thank you sir.

So the Issued at date doesn't match the "Date of PCN" on the letter. And the 5th Feb discount deadline date isn't 14 days before the date of issue.

What's next, informal challenge?

Apologies, I'm obviously missing something here.

I can go to "Challenge", then "Pay Now". I get directed to enter my PCN/VRN again. Then I get directed to a page with the same date, and CCTV evidence, appears correct.

Hi all, new to this forum, would appreciate any help.

Genuine error here at the "notorious" left turn from Clapham Park Road / Abbeville Road. I changed lanes and didn't realise it was a bus lane until it was too late. It was at dusk, so visibility not great but not entirely dark.

Was about to pay up before I Googled and read up to the background on this location. I note there are a few existing threads on this site, most recently here in similar circumstances - no resolution posted: https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/pcn-34j-being-in-a-bus-lane-clapham-park-road-lambeth/

Obviously frustrating as the road layout is unusual and not well signposted. Any advice on best course of action greatly appreciated, please let me know if further info required.
