Civil penalty charge notices (Councils, TFL and so on) / Re: Lambeth Council PCN for failing to give way

Hi,
we have received the reply from council and they have rejected the appeal but has offered to pay at discounted price of £80 which when we made appeal was on full amount of £160.
in the video footage, our car crosses the give away line at 0.05 seconds and at that time oncoming silver vehicle is just over the road hump which is roughly 30 to 33 yards before their priority sign ( i have checked on google maps and measured the distance) and at around 0.07 seconds when our car is literally clearing narrow section of road the other is reaching priority sign, the other car did pause for a second.
Can somebody please watch the video and suggest if the point that "our car was committed when the other car was not even at its priority sign and when our car was clearing the narrow section then they literally get their priority sign" is good enough and worth risking £80 to take the appeal further to tribunal or is there anything else someone can suggest or shall we just pay £80 if the chances are slim?
thanks
