Private parking tickets / Capital Car Park Control - Breached 'No Return within 2 hours' - St John Centre, Hedge End
« on: December 18, 2025, 05:09:57 pm »
I've just received this 'Notice to Keeper' today, 18th December. This is the first I've heard of it - I've not received the first letter they are talking about.

This is the car park on Street View: https://maps.app.goo.gl/6ioW8vBv2DfC69F8A
The entrance is just opposite the ice cream van. The ANPR controls are new, so if you move any closer the signage disappears but I have pictures of them taken today.
This is the sign at the entrance to the car park:

This is the detailed sign repeated throughout the car park:

The vehicle was being used by an employee of a business with premises in the St John Centre so did make multiple visits to the car park on that day, but they were all outside the 8am-6pm controlled hours indicated on the signage. In any case, the alleged infriging visit is more than two hours from the end of controlled hours so could not possibly be a breach of conditions. Unfortunately the employer won't help with parking tickets.
I have tried to appeal through Capital Car Park Control's website, but it does not let me as too long has passed.
1) Am I in the right here? I don't believe the signage prohibits multiple visits after 6pm at all.
2) What's the best way to contest this? There's a 'info' email address listed on their website but I don't want to get dragged into a back and forth about it being too late.
Please let me know if any more information would be helpful. Thanks in advance for any advice.
