That looks like a modern(ish) car so the speedo is most likely operated electronically and will set to 0 with the ignition on  - often after going round the dial and back. Either way - as others have said, suck this one up and move on. Most of us have been there.

Well I'm having it serviced this week so will find out. I was driving past one of those "speed checkers" and the speed seemed to be slightly off. Thanks anyway. It's really frustrating, knowing I didn't speed intentionally.

upon taking a closer look the speedometer needle seems to be way below 0, my service is due in 20days, I keep up-to date with yearly check ups.

Does the needle stay there when the car is actually turned on? Because it would appear it is off in that picture.

As for the speeding, as much as it's a pain, take the speed awareness course that will almost certainly be offered (only if you've not taken one). If not, 3 points doesn't generally load insurance premiums like it used to.

Yes it remains in the same position when turned on.

Hello,

I was driving down the "Limehouse Link Tunnel nr Hertsmere Rd W/B E14" and got flashed at the entrance, although the speed was slightly over 30mph (31maybe) Recorded speed on NIP 35mph, so I was slightly confused, upon taking a closer look the speedometer needle seems to be way below 0, my service is due in 20days, I keep up-to date with yearly check ups.

Any advice please?

I did think of sending an email, but as it was the last day to challenge at a discounted price I panicked since paying the full amount would put me in a very hard position.

I did send an email afterwards explaining the situation, but haven't yet received a reply, nor I have high expectations.

Thank you for your replies and willingness to help.

I have tried to make representations, however it wouldn't give me an option to do so online and it was the last day to pay the discounted fare, since Incandescent's last reply didn't given me much confidence, I just paid it in the end.

Well, I will try to appeal and see how it goes. Thanks

I also have a short video, let me know if it may be helpful, the sign seems to be hidden under the tree from a distance.

Hello,

I've received a PCN for entering a road within restricted time, I have taken the turn, (realised that I potentially didn't get the times right, because of my chronic condition I often have a brain fog) then stopped for sometime and continued going since I thought it's was too late anyway, I think I just generically followed a vehicle in front of me. I have driven by since and the signage is pretty clear.

I was hoping this could be challenged, any advice will be greatly appreciated.
