Civil penalty charge notices (Councils, TFL and so on) / Re: PCN Newham / London

Hello,
As promised this is the update following the representation!
"
Thank you for your representations received on 16 October 2025, against the above
penalty charge notice (PCN). Your comments and the notes of the Civil Enforcement
Officer (CEO) have been considered.
You have stated that your vehicle was parked on an unmarked length of street in
Edward Court. You believe that, under these circumstances, the authority must
cancel the PCN, as there were no prescribed road markings or traffic signs in place
to support enforcement. You further stated that the evidence provided does not show
any signage indicating Permit holders only parking past this point.
Your comments have been noted, and we are writing in response to your recent
representation regarding the PCN issued to you for parking in a permit holder
only/shared use parking bay without a valid permit at Edward Court.
We have confirmed that the signage at the location was indeed missing at the time of
the contravention. Please note that this does not invalidate the restriction in place.
As this is your first contravention at this location, we have decided to cancel
the PCN as a gesture of goodwill. "
Thank you very much for taking the time to help out!
Kind regards
