I thought that was the case. Wasn't sure if this counted as the buildings private land. Also the fact nobody else was ticketed but of course I could just be the unlucky one. It's been closed down for around 6 months now and I've parked there multiple times. In fairness I've never noticed the restricted signs as you couldn't park on the the road anyway you'd block it.

At least its only £35  :'(

There's a road behind where I work that has a solid yellow line along the road side and a sign stating no waiting during certain hours. On both sides of this small road there was a car dealership garage that has now closed down. They have a number of bays and no parking signs in front of their garage doors but since they've closed down these have been ignored and everyone is parking on this street. I've done the same and been ticketed by the council, contravention code:01.

I accept that the road does have a no waiting restriction and that I was parked during those times but I'm not sure if it applies to that place I was parked?

There are other cars that were parked for the same amount of time as me and were not ticketed. I appreciate this in itself is not a defence but I wonder whether I've parked in a certain way that does mean I should have been ticketed.

Not sure how to approach an appeal, if at all, and any help would be gladly received. Thank you
