Private parking tickets / UKPC Notice to Keeper - Not in Bay - Victoria Retail Park, Ruislip
« on: September 06, 2025, 10:20:38 am »
Hi everyone,
I've received a "Notice to Keeper" from UKPC for a vehicle registered to me and would be grateful for some advice on the best way to proceed. Images of the front and back of the notice are attached.
Details:
Parking Company: UKPC
Alleged Contravention: Not parked correctly within the markings of the bay or space.
Location: Victoria Road Retail Park, Ruislip, HA4 0AJ.
Charge: £100, reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days.
The notice mentions appealing to UKPC first, and then to POPLA if that's rejected. I have not yet contacted UKPC.
Could I get some advice on the following points?
What is the standard first step for dealing with a UKPC notice like this?
Should I submit an initial appeal to UKPC as the keeper?
Are there any known issues with signage or markings at this particular retail park?
What are the common winning appeal points for a "not in bay" ticket?
Any help on how to fight this would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
