I am thinking to send another one saying:

On the day I received your Charge Certificate dated 01/08/25, I realised there had been a mistake. I apologise for this error. As I mentioned in my previous communications, I have been on dialysis since April. At the same time, I am trying to work (as an interpreter for Public Services – I was working for Ealing Council on that day). I have been under a great deal of stress and mistakenly submitted my appeal in the wrong way.

I kindly ask that you accept my late appeal and withdraw the Charge Certificate, as the amount is a significant financial burden for me. I am working far less since starting dialysis, and I am also dealing with other health issues related to my kidney condition, such as anaemia, low energy, fluctuating blood pressure, and joint pain. I am also a single mother with no help, as my family lives in Spain.

For all these reasons, I kindly request that you withdraw the Charge Certificate and/or cancel the PCN on this occasion. This was my first time in the area, which I am completely unfamiliar with, and dealing with these health and personal challenges contributed to this situation.

Hello,
I was wondering if any of you can tell me how long I have to wait to hear from the council after sending a late appeal.

I sent apeal to wrong address and after receiving a charge certificate, I sent the appeal late as a Contact Form.

Now, I don't know if i have to wait for them to contact me, or if they would do.

The charge certificate was dated 1/08/25 and they ask for payment before 14 days of the date of the charge certificate.

How long do i have to wait? should I send another communication?

Yes, I already called and even though the case went to proceeding they were able to withdraw and allow me to do the course.
I was going to post and let you know, once I book the course to make sure all was ok. But i dont think it will be any problem. they told me to book the course straight away.

I just thought that I could get away with it because dialysis is a life saving treatment and that day I was very late because I went to the beach. lol

The information about the fine is at the bottom of the email.
I thought I provided all information to be honest.

I wrote to them and sent them the back of the first page of the letter. I only have two. when they replied they gave me that information and a picture.

Can you please help a nooby and tell me what other information you need?

The email I sent was parkingrep@ealing.gov.uk that was at the back of the PCN letter.
I did not see another page at the time.
I never received any reply from that email to notify me that was not the right email to make representation (i know is not their responsability)
and I should have checked before the status of the appeal before the deadline but I did not.

So, not possible to try send the appeal late? I think I have seen somewhere that is an option or am I wrong?

I was the driver.

On another note. that I did not mention on my email but it might be very relevant, I have kidney failure for 16 years and recently in April started dialysis. I am still trying to work but it is causing me a lot of stress.
I went to work for Council as Interpreter for Social services that day. I traveled from Hackney to Ealing.  on my turn to the right, the signals were not visible. If had seen them, I would not have passed there as I am familiar with it.

Please advice,
Driver sent representations to a wrong email address.
Council sent Charge Certificate on 1/08/25 saying they did not receive any representations.
What is the next step. can driver send appeal late on the grounds that they mistaken sent to a wrong address to the council?
