I had just completed a food shopping trip for my cousin, who needed help as she had a newborn and 3 young children, aged 7, 5 and 3.
I did the shopping trip with my own child (7 years old), as well as two of my cousin’s children, aged 3 and 7. The shopping was completed at 17:20, and I left the store around 17:30. It took me approximately 15 minutes to reach her home, so I arrived at her house around 17:45.

Upon arrival, I parked in front of my cousin's car to unload the groceries, bring the 3 kids in, and get them settled (e.g take them to the toilet etc), whilst my cousin was busy attending to her newborn.

As soon as I had completed unloading the shopping and ensuring the children were settled, I went to move my car. However, by that time 17:50, the parking ticket had already been issued. I made every effort to comply with the regulations as soon as my urgent tasks were completed, but unfortunately, the ticket was issued during that brief period of time.

While I parked on double yellow lines, I ensured that I did not cause any obstruction to traffic, access, or pedestrians. I only briefly blocked in my cousin on her driveway, on a very quiet street.
I have a receipt for the shopping and proof that my cousin paid me back.

Is there any hope for me???
