Originally the CAB put a letter of complaint to them.  They wasn't very hopeful and wasn't impressed with the council.  Ive recently contacted CEO of the housing, local councilor, ceo of council and lead councilor.  I think there's 13 pcns in total not 100 percent sure.  I would like to take them to court for harassment.  If they don't take Myeloma Cancer into concern regards health, then they do deserve to be sued.  Its disgusting really.

It's the area but on a bigger scale, the estate is just before the mechanics.  Its a private  housing estate owned by Places 4 people, before that it was called North British housing.  Its got 4 sections in total with obviously parking for all areas.  It is permit but I'm a tenant and they were ticketing me whilst I was going toughest stage of Myeloma Cancer.  The council can quash PCNs regarding health.  But I don't trust the council.  After all Nottingham was one of the first city's to declare itself bankrupt due to investment in a energy company that went into liquidation.

It's not a road do I need to take photos of the area in question? and upload ?  It's not my fault that NCC can't tell the difference between a road and a housing estate.  Don't bother replying if you are unable to help.

I now have reason to believe a dodgy deal has taken place between Nottingham City Council and my housing association.  Obviously I can't prove this, but another tenant on the estate but with different housing association for his flat.  He was a landscape gardener for the housing association and has quit his job over this as was told there's 4 parking spaces for staff but that would mean he carrying gardening equipment from one part of the estate to another.  All other work/repairs have permits to park.  There's just something not quite right about all of this.  There's something that leaves a  nasty taste in my mouth.  Ive received another 5 TECS today.  I not sent reply to the four notes I presume 28 days so I will max this out to my advantage.  Ive emailed the housing association asking for copies both digital and paper regards what my rent includes.  I will contact CEO of the council and the leaders but I think I need to find out who the CEO of the housing association is also.I have contacted the housing about this matter and had a email from my housing officer saying she couldn't help.  They can't help or don't want to help?

I would like to ask if anyone has took a council to court over something maybe like this or illegal activity regarding a council. Obviously I will need to build a case against them.  The tenant I mentioned has been collecting evidence against the housing association in question and told me he intends to sue.  I don't want to stay in Nottingham, I want out and this flat I can't make home not after sharing the  flat with my mum since 1982 and I wouldn't;t want to stay in a city that run by a council who only interest is money.  I don't really have a family here but I do have the flats stuff that my late mum left me.

I originally tried everything my housing they didn't want to know.  CAB, mp, im sitting on 4 new pcns after the court ruled in my favour.  You get 28 days to reply dont you ? So im going to max this out, im in no rush.  Soon as you reply you just get rejection letters.  So I might as well put some space between me and the council.  Nottingham City Council was one of the first councils to declare themselves bankrupt after they invested all the money into a energy company that folded.  Thanks

I have uploaded all documents at my disposal.  I also stated that I was ticketed by the council for not having a permit on a residential housing association car park by a council who doesn't own the land.  I will obviously have to look elsewhere if your are unable to help.

So if I had a heart attack and was in intensive care, would I be expected to move my car ?

I've supplied what I have.  I live with a private housing association.  Places for People obviously that would make that private land and a private car park.  But its also a controlled area and is patrolled by the council.  I am diagnosed with Myeloma Cancer also.  So I was dealing with that when I started to get ticketed.  I cant even remember getting a letter about a permit renewal and like I said the council rejected my applications as council tax was out of date.  I mentioned I lost my mum and I was working with Myeloma cancel just to keep the flat going as mums money was in probate.  The day that cleared I was diagnosed with Myeloma Cancer, came off all work.  I was living off sick pay to I managed to get pip and later ESA.  It wasnt easy at all.  You don't tend to think about parking permits when you get diagnosed with Myeloma Cancer.

Yes obviously my health did play a big part in my situation.  You prioritise your health being number 1.  Sorry about your wife i hope she gets the support and treatment she needs.  It's a long process, I will try and get some evidence up, I only joined the forum yesterday.

Hi

I've only just joined this site after being recommended from the Martin Lewis site.

In August 2023 I lost my mum who I lived with the majority of my life.  We moved into the flat NG1 4ES in 1982 - owned by a private housing association - Places 4 People as they are now called now.  Obviously I took over the tenancy from my mum.

June 2024 I was diagnosed with Myeloma Cancer, I had 5 hairline fractures in my back caused by the Myeloma cells attacking the calcium in my back.  By July that had risen to 7, obviously I had to come off work and was helped to get pip and ESA.  I was having to attend the hospital weekly and am still under them.  Towards the end of the year the treatment stepped up a notch took had to have a Hickman line inserted for a Stem Cell Transplant.  After that I had to go through the Stem Cell Collection 4 days 9 to 5 attached to a machine that collected my Stem Cells.  December 3rd I had a Stem Cell Transplant meeting where I was told 3 percent chance of death, he was worried about my hernia, if I caught a infection I could end up on critical care.  14 December I started getting ticketed by Nottingham City Council one after another.  I tried to get a permit but it took the council a whole month to reject my application due to a out of date council tax letter.  I think this happened on a couple of occasions.  Eventually I went to CAB to get help with this, they did write a letter of complaint to the Council as they felt this resolved a lot quicker.

So far I have had 6 pcns ruled in my favour by the traffic enforcement centre, but this hasn't stopped the council issuing me with 6 new pcns for £70 each.  I have to post a further 2 witness statements to the traffic enforcement centre and I might have another 4 arriving in the post at some point.

The council are making my life a absolute misery, I can't live a life no more for this constant bullying, harassment from the council.  Thinking about this treatment or the typing out of documents or photo copying my medical documents.  I now want to leave my birth city, i need help as this just isn't going away.  Ive tried everything why should I have to pay the council for living on a private housing association?

I typed this via laptop I can take pics of court letters and upload if necessary same with medical documents.  Does not the Council realise if I not received treatment from the hospital I would be dead now, that's how serious Myeloma Cancer is, there's no current cure but it is treatable.
