Let' see it first. I will dig out my technical arguments later and then do a draft for you. Here is my original which I will tweak accordingly:

Hi Hippocrates,

I have received a notice of rejection from TFL. Attached is the letter.

Please could you advise as to the best next step, is a tribunal worth pursuing here?

TIA

Hi Hippocrates,

Just checking in to see if this argument applies to my case and whether I should lift it or if you had any relevant tweaks.

Many thanks in advance!

Hi Hippocrates,

Thanks for your response. Please see attached the enforcement letter along with the representation I made earlier which was not really acknowledged.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks again!

I say do not pay and follow the process. Trust us please. I will guide and help you throughout.

Hi Hippocrates,

I have now received the enforcement letter. Do you think I should resubmit my representation (shared above) for proper consideration or is there a specific template or wording you would recomend?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks Hippocrates, I appreciate the offer. I will wait for the enforcement letter and revert back.

7
When you say stand firm, what stage are you referring to? After you submit representations after enforcement letter and then going to an adjudicator?

I’m trying to get an understanding of what to expect in the process beyond where. TIA!

Thanks for your reply. Yes I was of the same opinion, they merely restated their case and failed to properly consider or justify their dismissal of my representation.

Thanks for confirming if I wait for the enforcement letter I will lose the option of a discount..

I feel like I have a reasonable case here but I am first timer so might just be blind optimism.

Hi all,

Earlier this month I received a PCN for a bus lane infringement. In the photo evidence TFL provided it is clear that another car on the other side of the road is infringing on my main carriageway. I have made the case that I was momentarily in the bus lane to avoid a collision and submitted a representation to the TFL citing relevant highway code guidance etc (images clearly show my vehicle leaving the bus lane when the hazard has cleared).

They responded to my representation classing it as 'informal' but made no reference to my evidence. They merely stated that the cameras are there to prove place and time and that it was my responsibility not to be in the bus lane.

Apparently if I want to make a formal representation I need to let it go to the enforcement letter stage? I am wondering if this means I will be on the hook for £160 if I am unsuccessful?

I have attached the initial PCN letter, my appeal, and some images to illustrate my case. Any advice welcome on how to proceed/ chances of success!

TIA.
