I am still unable to log in to the website. I have tried different devices and different internet connections. It has only been half a day since I received the letter however.

Apologies for the last minute nature, we just became aware of the PCN today after being out of the country.

I do not recall passing these signs, although since they start in the middle of a road past a pedestrian crossing that may have been because I wouldn't have expected a change in access at that point.

Unfortunately I am unable to log into the PCN website to scrutinise the evidence fully:

I think the location is https://maps.app.goo.gl/QJrM7ifnV1nkDYrW7 but the media is heavily redacted so I cannot tell for sure.

After an extended delay, Southwark have responded this week and have cancelled the PCN.

Quite amusingly it states the following:

Quote
I refer to the Formal Representation you have made against the issue of the Penalty Charge Notice xxx.

I have examined the facts surrounding the issue of the PCN and cancelled the penalty charge.

Please be advised the PCN has been cancelled due to an administrative error unrelated to the content of your representations and should not be taken as precedent. The cancellation of this penalty charge has no bearing on the validity of any other PCNs that may be issued to you in future.

In this instance, as the PCN has been cancelled, no further action will be taken in this matter.

Yours sincerely
Southwark Parking Services

Not sure how much of this to take at face value but will take the win. Thanks to all, especially Hippocrates.

I have submitted the representation and will keep the thread updated. Many thanks H.

We were following satnav, but in all honesty although we can recall the journey, we cant remember the specific event in question.

Searching on these forums, there seems to be some impropriety in PCNs issued by Southwark?

7
Apologies for the bump but the 14 days for the reduced penalty expires tomorrow so any advice would be welcome.

PCN below. One thing to note is that the URL to pay is incorrect and results in a 404. I have not yet determined the correct URL in case it prejudices anything. I understand that there may be structural issues with Southwark PCNs so await instructions. EDIT: Just realised the VRM and PCN no were not to be redacted. Happy to re-upload if required.
