Hi all,

Update following my mediation call this morning. I followed the suggested script outlined above with the following outcomes:

-Claimant could not/woould not confirm authrotity to negotiate/settle.
-Role/title was legal litigation assistant (or something like that)
-they had shared a settlment offfer of £200 (downn fro mthe claim of £350ish) which I rejected
-the mediator said that then means this is likely to go to court unless the clainment/I settle seperately, or they discontinue

That was about the extent of the call.

Any suggestions on next course of action are most welcome

Hi all, just checking in. Have not received any further notice yet since the receipt/acknowledgement of my defense on MCOL e.g. no N180 either in the post or otherwise. Question, is there a time limit by which this needs to occur as its been over a month now since my defense was recorded.

The only thing I am not clear on however is how long I have to respond. I recieved DCB's questionnaire on 5th Jan. I've downloaded & completed the N180 form as suggested in the above post, but just want to confirm what sort of timeframe I have to email this in as per the explanation on the above thread?

Quick update just for info & benefit of others like me who do not know this process at all - recieved acknowlegdement/recipet of defence submission, so now assume we wait for DCBL to reply, if at all.

Thanks for the guidance. I've searched the forum & found this thread which I think covers the main actions to take? Just so I get this right, I assume I now have to submit an AoS (Acknowledgement of Service), and then a personalised copy of the defence template quoted in the thread e.g. "in the County Court between Vehicle Control Services Ltd" etc (obviously adjusting for my particular details).

This is then to be emailed to the prescribed email address in the thread (claimresponses.cnbc@justice.gov.uk) noting claim number etc. There is alos a copy of a draft order for defence - should I include this also?

Hi all,
Have finally had a response to my previous email from DCB & it comes as no surprise I guess that they are sticking to their guns. On my part this is getting beyond my comfort zone & area of experience/knowledge, so once again need to lean on this group for advice & direction please.

Quick updateon my above situation. I have used one of b789's LOC responses email templates & now await DCBL response. Out of curiosity, I have also run the email template through my Claude Pro Ai account using the following prompt:

I have just sent the following email (being the LOC template) to DCBL on this matter - please analyse the likely next actions by DCBL or potential outcome
