Hi all, just to let you know that I’ve received my N279 Notice of Discontinuance.

Thank you so much for all your support — I genuinely wouldn’t have reached this point without your help. It’s been a stressful journey, but I’m relieved that it’s now over and that I’ve been able to walk away without having to pay anything. I really appreciate everything you’ve done to help me get through this.

Ok i will upload now - just trying to work it out. It's not as simple as just inserting for some reason

Just a quick update - received the letter to confirm it's been transferred to my local court few weeks back and now I have received a letter (Notice of allocation to the small claims track (hearing)).  The claim with be heard at the "court" at a certain date unless It states "the claimant has until a date to pay the court a trial fee", if they don't pay does this mean it won't go ahead and it should be dropped?

Quick update: I had my mediation call and went through everything line by line, just as you laid out. They didn’t want to settle at £0 or discontinue the case, and instead made me a counteroffer, which I rejected. So, it will now proceed to court. The mediator said he will arrange for the case to be transferred to my local court. So i guess i should receive that letter the one you mentioned about.

Who do i chase up about that, please?

No i haven't received that - does it usually come by post?

Yes, I insisted face to face at my local court. I was scared for a second when I first read the first half but yes, just the useless mediation call. Okay, thanks - I will go about it as you said. Appreciate your help.

Thanks for all your help; it’s really dug me out of a hole, so to speak. I filled out the questionnaire, and they’ve come back with a telephone mediation. I suppose I just need to say that I’m not prepared to offer them anything, and that’s it. Hopefully, that will be more or less the end of it. Cheers.

I've received the letter attached from HM Court regarding my receipt of defence and that the claimant may contact me to try resolve the dispute. Should I ignore them?

Thank you very much for sending me the draft order for my defence and giving me peace of mind. I will keep you in the loop once i've heard back from them. Thanks.

Hi, i received a claim form and was hoping if you could help me with my drafted defence, please. First I need to acknowledge service of claim which i'll do tomorrow. It is pretty worrying as i haven't come across anything like this before. Appreciate any help. Thanks.
