They did say if I didn't reply with a paragraph immediately I'd have missed deadline and right to pay half would be gone but I've literally just had an email agreeing to grant me 14 days from yesterday (when I proved I'd appealed and they admitting losing) to resubmit appeal

Wildebeestless area! So reckon I'm all good!
Obviously for pedestrians but am just saying as long as they are able bodied and not with a pushchair. Bit daft. We counted almost 100 tickets they'd given that day and all the others were on double yellows so feel a bit hard done by!
Also annoyed that they have audacity to pretend they never recieved my appeal, then when I gave proof  changed the story to "we've lost it". How can they gave lost it?!

 Serious question - crossing for who? pedestrians?e.g. you couldn't fit a wheelchair or pushchair through the bollards (we checked) why would people cross in the middle of a main road and not at the crossings.

So I have already appealed it which I now realise may be to my detriment. 14 days had passed since I appealed so I contacted them and 5 days later they have replied to say they have no record of my appeal! I sent back the email I recieved confirming my appeal and they basically said "well we don't have it so write another appeal" ! So therefore I feel I have another shot at this and have requested 14 days to submit my appeal as I am away and they have admitted to losing it whilst I have proof they received it.

I could kick myself because I honestly didn't even consciously notice the dropped kerb, I was so fixated on the yellow lines ending. Behind my car were dozens of other cars (legally parked) so I just saw the space with no yellow line and just went for it. Adjacent to the dropped kerb I parked over is a dropped kerb with double yellow lines and no access to the walkway/roadway due to permanent concrete bollards so what is the drop kerb for ? You couldn't safely cross there as a pedestrian either, and there are alternative pedestrian crossings along the road.

Also along the rest of the road there are double and single yellow across all the drop kerbs but this one.

Basically I am wondering if I have a leg to stand on I'm appealing this? (PCN was attached to my car)
