No - 'evidence' showing you were apparently speeding isn't a good look (Not that an averaged GPS reading can be relied upon).  But you'll have to wait and see the officer's witness statement if it does progress to court...

I understand your point, however the speed was a maximum for that drive and included several roads with higher speed limits that the one he claims I was speeding down.

The statement on the S59 was "... you were driving at a high speed..." and the officer telling me more than once that I was "clearly exceeding the speed limit", yet the maximum I was going was 2mph faster.

He did also claim that I had to slam on my brakes for the red light just after I passed him, but I did not trigger the "Rapid acceleration" or "Harsh braking" events within Life360 at any point on that drive although I suppose that isn't really relevant unless he brings that up at a later date as that was not the reasons listed on the S59

Hi all,

Around 3 weeks ago I was pulled over and issued a Section 59 warning and a NIP for driving without due care and attention for "speeding and driving in the middle of the road" and for having a loud exhaust on my car.
The officer that pulled me over was facing the other direction and was parked, was on his own, with no dash cam, just a body cam (he even said that it will just be his word against mine) and I have a screenshot and video from Life360 showing my top speed over the whole drive was 2mph faster that the speed limit where I was pulled over.
I also have video and photo evidence of the road I was driving down being so narrow that to avoid the door zone of the parked cars requires you to be in the middle of the road.
He also only pulled me over even though 3 of my friends were right behind me in their cars doing the exact same speed.
Should I even be worried about receiving anything further than this as as far as I am aware there must be evidence to proceed to court as I did not receive a fixed penalty.
If I am likely to receive anything further should the evidence that I have for my case be sufficient to prevent me being convicted (I also have no prior offences).

Many thanks
